A little visit

What a wonderful weekend!

I spent my days and nights in the valley for my best friend Jessica's wedding. Everything was breathtakingly perfect! I even caught the boquet which means I need to find a guy to marry. Preferably while the boys are still young enough to be my ring bearers!!

One my way home, I stopped in at the Stewart's for an impromptu visit. How could I resist a sunny backyard with my three fave boys and their awesome parents?! There were spinklers, pretzels, and and "cocktails" (alcohol free for me considering the weekend! and the boys of course). Then I was invited to join the family as well as my little lady Sophie and her mother and grandmother for a BBQ. I love how welcome I am in the house. Even though I'm no longer their supernanny, I still feel as though I am part of the family.

Station 2

James and I had a sleepover on Thursday night. On Friday, we went up to Station 2, the fire station by the IWK. Naturally, we parked at the top of the IWK parking garage. He loooooves his parking garages. We were only at the station for 5 minutes and they got a call and had to leave. James loved watching the figrefighters get put on their gear and leave the station. We weren't sure how long they'd be, so we had a snack at the IWK then went to Sophie's for a bit. When the guys got back to the station, we headed back down and brought Sophie too. The kids had a blast. Thanks to "Firefighter Rob" for showing us around!
At the top of the parking garage - you can see the station.

happy #2 sophie

Beast's future wife, Sophie, turned 2 a couple weeks ago. Naturally, I got her the best card ever. "Dora" sang happy birthday to her when she opened it.

hatfield!

During the last week of Team KT we did lots of fun things! My favourite was our trip to Hatfield Farm with Lyla, Owen and their new nanny Kim, and Fionna, Finn and Kiera! We hung out with some animals, played on a playground, jumped in bounce castles, had some beloved hot dogs for lunch, and had wagon rides! ((For some reason I cannot move the pictures so they're in an odd order))

Close the blog? Never!

Someone...I won't name names... suggested I close the Team KT blog. How could I do such a thing?! These boys will forever be mine. Even if I do have to share with their fantastic new nanny, "Mecole".

I still have some pictures to upload, but I've been busy with the new job and haven't gotten around to it. I also intend on stealing the boys for adventures and will continue to make posts. They just won't be as frequent as they have been. I think we should all encourage Mecole to carry on the nanny blog traditions. I, for one, really want to see what the boys are up to!

James is coming for a sleepover at my "repartment" this Thursday and on Friday we're heading up to Station 2! The fire station by the IWK. We're going to get a tour. Be sure to check back for pictures.

Crafts!

James and I have been spending lots of quality time together doing crafts while the Beast is napping. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure.

Welcome to Halifax

Supermom came up with the idea of turning a diaper box into a set of roads. Then I got very excited and stayed late (7:30pm instead of 5:00pm!) to help create. Check out our "city" named Halifax... so original... (FYI James named it).
Our fire station.. and house that is on fire!

Helicopter landing pad

Streetlights, stop signs, we've got it all!

I PROMISE Beast laughed after this and wasn't hurt. The video was too funny not to post. We HAVE had some success with James helping Will walk though! And when it happens it is soooo cute!

Sunny steps

We've broken out the fleeces! That's right... we've said good bye to the winter jackets and said hello to the sun. When Beast wakes up from his nap we enjoy some time on the steps, counting cars and waving to buses, then have a walk around the neighbourhood.
