nerd alert.

Took off my glasses, put in my contacts, and turned around. What did I find? A little J-Nerd. Since I'm pretty blind (ha, ok, I'll be honest, legally blind without glasses/contacts), I'm sure that looking through these coke bottles was quite the trip for him!

zoom zoom zoom. we're going to the moon.

Supernanny got creative.
There is a cubby under the stairs at the boy's house that was used for "storage". I made an executive decision to removed the stored items and transformed the cubby. It became a rocketship, because, let's face it, shouldn't every three year old boy have a rocketship?!
I tacked Christmas tree lights up, and taped up glow in the dark stars, moons, planets and galaxies (Thanks Diver aka Chris). James and I even made a rocket ship to go on the wall. I found books about space, stars, and the solar system at the library, and off we went.

salt dough ornaments

Okay.... so my posts aren't in order.... it shows my level of brain functioning at 10:30pm on a Friday night... after a week of the boys! Jody & I made salt dough ornaments with the kiddies... cookie cutters were at Nan's House so the supernannies got creative and cut shapes with knives. Scroll down further to see them on the tree.

Choo choo gingerbread train!

Who makes gingerbread houses anymore?! Trains are where it's at!

O Christmas tree

When I was younger, I sometimes had a Christmas tree in my bedroom and thought it was the coolest thing ever! I thought I would share my tradition with James and he loved the idea! We made lots of ornaments and when his family got their big tree, they also got a mini one for J-MAC.
Ribbons, ribbons ribbons!
Showing off a few ornaments while decorating the tree
Decorating!
So proud of the finished product!
Here it is:

Santa!

Well, it took three tries (1st by supernanny, 2nd by mom, and 3rd as a supernanny group effort) but I got James to pose with Santa. In the end he wasn't scared at all and had a blast talking to him. Beast was a different story...

A little lovin

Discovery Centre

The toddlers love going to the Discover Centre, but even the littlest ones enjoy hanging out at the Centre. They loved the freedom to crawl around and explore a new area. They are interacting more now and it is soooooo cute!
We ALL know this is an optical illusion, but for once, Lyla is taller than James!

Hmmm static...

Racing to the toy. Guess who won...

So many!

I have no body!
